As I have said on these pages too often, the term "marriage contact" is the literal truth: for every American, marriage involves a legally binding contract. If christians want it also include God, that's their business...I guess.

But as long as they are entirely unconcerned about two men or two women contracting to buy a house or rent an apartment together, this outrage seems very selective and purposeful.
