There almost was a better one. Tragically, so many Americans were so upset about “the socialist that got away” in ’16 that they entirely forgot the lesson of Nader in Florida 2000, and neglected to vote at all. (And please fellow Dems, consider tRump the price of your principles and, I beg you all, NEVER AGAIN!)

(I’ve long considered maybe Nader got a bum rap. There was so much vote theft going on (executables in voting machines, a company paid $4m for $100 worth of voter purge work, etc.) that I speculate that whatever votes were needed would have been stolen as needed.)
