At 62 years of age I am active on the Steam game site, though the average gamer is far younger. I occasionally post comments that reflect concern about the political and environmental issues in the world. Of some 130 "friends" (carefully selected to screen out hate and ignorance) I have never had more than 11 respond in ANY manner. Some friends literally exit conversations the second anything political is mentioned.

As well, while Steam has MANY white supremacist and hate-based groups, with over 10 million gamers, upon last check there were only TWO BLM groups...both inactive.

I'd like to think this is not representative of America's youth, but I fear it is.
