For my Oculus VR system, a DP cable is essential. So when I damaged the one that came with my computer, I needed a replacement.

Living in a rural area of the south, my options were limited. Walmart (or all places) knew exactly what I needed, but didn't carry them. As such, I was directed a few hundred yards away to Office Depot. (Literally the ONLY place of business where, in 62 years, I have EVER uttered the phrase, "fuck you" to a clerk.)

I requested a "DP graphics cable" from a clerk I had recognized from my most recent visit (over a year before.) He had no idea what I wanted, so he turned to another clerk (also present a year prior) and asked for a "DP graphics kit". Ever upon clarification, no clue.

So unless you are in a larger area (or the USPS gets it's act together for delivery of "tubes" orders) your options may be limited. (I ended up online.)
