Central to the Christian faith is the belief in every individual's inherent worth and dignity, as all are considered children of God.
It's just so easy to become confused, with so-called (white, evangelical) Christians blaming all Earth's woes on WOKEness. While this is something they claim to base their entire collection of "bogeyman" fears on convincing people to believe, the very same bible that they all too often claim to be the source of the hate they spew endlessly, also contains what may well be the most WOKE phrase possible (and from the lips of Jesus, no less):
"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."
Has anyone checked to see if the new "Trump bible" even includes the Sermon On the Mount? If so, it's likely just a matter of time until followers of The Killer Wail decide not to believe that they can only be exactly as great in the eyes of their god as they elevate others to become, no matter their race, religion, color or personal and/or private expressions of honesty and freedom.
No matter. They can easily claim in mass that Jesus never said it, the bible has never included it, and that The Golden Rule is blasphemy in GOP lead states.
Thank you, Libby.
