I have to suggest that Democrats offer far more than fear-based appeals, and not only to people of color.

The GI Bill isn’t color or fear based.

Nor is unemployment insurance, medicare or medicaid.

Prior to the success of the Democratically led battle for social security, 50% of elderly Americans lived below the poverty level, largely regardless of race.

If not for Democrats it’s entirely likely that the millions of Americans of all races who live in rural areas would not have electricity or mail delivery, perhaps to this day.

Democrats are the reason we have WIC for women and children of any race, and the same for SNAP for the most needy Americans.

Democrats didn’t only fight for these benefits(and many more, all of which were fought against by Republicans), but have continued the fight to assure that they continue to be available to all qualifying Americans.

Perhaps I’ve misunderstood the context, in which case I welcome clarification.
