My guess? Calling someone else a "lesbian ", or almost certainly a far worse word (which I can't bring myself to type), used as an insult, would not only have failed to receive condemnation, but would have been considered amusing. (And no doubt this dear child heard that term many hundreds of times.)

While this is in NO WAY about me, some days I'd rather leave the house as anything other than a hetero white male.
