Here's another fitness hint:

"Read the contract!"

I gym I signed up for assured every potential member that all it would take to cancel the contract is proof that you had moved away. Great!

But when that happened, it was pointed out to me that there is a fee; the balance of the contract on demand. And since this was in a military town, and those in the military can NOT default on payments without serious repercussions, this was essentially a scam to victimize some of the most innocent.
