Suddenly, not only were the rich convinced they deserved it all, the poor often did too.

And it did nothing to assist the logic of the situation for the rich to pay an "investment income" tax rate, often half what a WORKER paid. (Yes, we pay the rich to lay on the beach, talking about how lazy the rest of us are.)
