I confess that the aspect of the gun issue that I perhaps find most telling is the NRA’s relationship with people of color; nothing.

How can this say anything to their chosen demographic (and to the world) other than “these are our collective enemies, and we will never want even their money badly enough for that to stop being true. We want guns in the hands of the mentally ill, domestic abusers, convicted felons, victims of severe PTSD, killers, , racists, small children, and in fact everyone else….unless they fail the test of looking like we do.”

THEN explain how there is no white supremacy, and no racism on the right, or in the White House….
