Your words remind me tremendously of my ex-wife. Some of the situations you describe are an exact match to what my wife imagined, including myself and her daughter, who was living in the house with us until she delivered her child. I think she shared your issues, but was not diagnosed as such (but was diagnosed as having a serious mental illness.) But she tried to take my life a half-dozen times, so staying and trying to help became impossible at some point, though I tried, based on my genuine love for her. I can only imagine that the strength within your husband and daughter are beyond measure, and greater strength than I have have ever personally known You are certainly fortunate to have them both in your life. I hope the battles you've fought together have brought the three of you closer.
