I think I may have a simple test to know someone's political beliefs almost instantly.

If they reference freedom, there's a reasonably good chance they mean "a tool to bludgeon "others" with".

But if they reference equality and/or justice, there's a pretty good chance they're one of us.

And they probably could use a hug right about now.
