“Is it okay to be white?"
I can imagine many white people responding with something like, "No, it is not OK! Being white is perfect!" ('Spose those responses were added to the "White hating" column?)
And if white people couldn't be counted on to answer a loaded question "appropriately" due to its intentional and directed vagueness, imagine how drastically different the original responses might have been had the question been changed toward responsible polling by changing a single word to one of its synonyms...
" Is it acceptable to be white?"
Had a reasonable question such as this (well, reasonable compared to the original) been asked, even by Rasmussen, the most unreliable of all major polls, this past week's focus would have been very different, and repugs would have one less "white martyr".
One of my problems with hate is that it's so unbelievably easy that even the most ignorant and stupid (not the same) people on Earth can contribute something evil to the process.
I confess I do seek validation from Black people I encounter. But because of what I hope is considered my humanity, not my race.
Thank you, Johnny.
