It seems some people just lack a basic understanding. (And since you asked...)
As someone who suffers from chronic pain, having access to my physician prescribed medications is necessary.
When my prescription fell due on a weekday a few years back, I called to see if they would indeed be open on that day since it was also a 4th of July holiday. I was told by a human being that indeed; they would be open.
To be sure I checked their website, which confirmed that they would be open.
So it should surprise no one that when that 4th of July came about, they were locked up tight, even while their website claimed them to be open even then.
And so I rated them honestly, as I had every right to do. As I recall I didn't pan them but gave them a two-star rating as a warning to those others who cannot safely be told to, "wait until tomorrow because we were not only wrong, but doubly wrong about our claim to be open now."
Of course, only a couple of hours later I get a phone call from the owner of the pharmacy literally yelling at me over the phone about "having employees to feed" (a sure sign of someone providing minimum wage at best, at worst paying employees sub-minimum as contractors.) And yes, while he was screaming at me, the website still said OPEN.
Why is this stuff so hard?
Thank you, Kennardo. You make my life better, more interested, and better connected to the world.
