It is literally beginning to look less like an anomaly, and more like a sick contest to see who can cause the most guns to be sold.

I had a discussion today in the local rural deep south grocery store/food desert with a young gun lover who had no idea that "well-regulated militia" was even in the 2nd amendment. (But he admitted he knew of zero such "well-regulated militia” members among his gun-owning friends.)
