No doubt this effort to protect the public will be weaponized as "just another attack on those in blue committed to saving the lives of those they serve."

Personally, while I've heard calls to "defund" police, I've yet to hear a single request to "UN-fund", or "NON-fund" the police.

We "destress" to lessen stress. We "depreciate" to lessen value. We "decelerate" to slow. So why can't we "defund" to lessen funding?

But until now I never imagined the police themselves would be the people responsible for a program to "depopulate" the police.
