One can hardly help but wonder if West simply sees Frump not as a good person or good president (who could?), but as his model and template for fame and lessons of media control and manipulation.
And perhaps he's simply running for president because he thinks of that ride down the escalator as the point as which Plump stopped becoming a person, and (in his supporters' eyes) became a god. And the moment when Grump began to replace Jesus in the "teachings" of white evangelicals.
Like West, Thump became the first, and loudest, member of his own cult. But Plump became the face of hate before his cult was embraced. What face is West being, I wonder. Thoughts?
But it is undeniable tragic that mental illness takes such a large part in this journey to godhood. (For both men, actually.)
Very interesting. Thank you.
