One of the most painful realizations I've had recently is very specific to the climate crisis, and I think you might know exactly how to best present the concept (should that be your choice.)
No doubt you've heard of the numerous billionaires building survival bunkers in New Zealand. (Other places too, but mostly NZ.)
One can't but wonder if that choice of location is because NZ is considered by many to be the first place that might return to livability after an apocalypse....eventually.
My guess? These idiots may actually expect their offspring to crawl out of that hole in 100,000 years, and repopulate the New Earth with ONLY "Musk genes". (Or whoever.)
This is too crazy, greedy and selfish to be real, so it likely is. I couldn't think of anyone more passionate about the subject, or capable of presenting this possibility than you, if you wish. (If I write it, fewer than a half-dozen people will ever see it.)
