What has worked for me is what I have done when I'm told that Trump was appointed by God.

My response has been essentially, "SInce Lucifer had been God's favorite angel (before being cast down), I can very easily believe Trump was God's favorite politician." The response is always silence. Then avoidance, then ignoring. (No effort to save my soul.)
