Sure, I may be an aging, hetero (well, asexual) white male, but when I read things like this I feel FAR from safe.

The same way I feel when any victim of prejudice or hate is victimized for any reason, but especially to simply elevate some evil bastard with no heart or soul.

I keep hoping that at the very least, the approaching end of mankind may trigger some “Independence Day” effect, where all humanity will become unified in the fight to save itself. But it seems the opposite is more likely, as humanity comes up with more, not less, forms of denial. Denial of reality, denial of humanity, denial of sameness inside….denial of love.

I’m sorry this happened to you, and to so many. And sorry that it’s still happening to someone, somewhere this very minute.
