The right(wrong) has come up with one of their wackier theories:

"Democrats want the virus to run wild, and want people to die by the many thousands in order to keep America shut down, and thereby hurt Thump's re-election chances."

On its face alone, this is insane. And any examination makes it crazier yet;

It's DEMOCRATS that wear face masks, statistically not so much repubs. So it's obviously DEMS wanting to control the disease, and wanting to keep people safe, healthy and alive. Not the statistically non-face-mask wearing repubs.

So if it's DEMS wanting to control the disease, it's just as clearly DEMS wanting to open America's business and schools sooner. NOT the non-mask-wearing repubs. (And while we may wish to think of America as all the world, it isn't. Most victims, living and dead, are not Dems or repubs, but rather citizens of other countries. Of course, for anyone, anywhere to really not actually give a shit about Frump is the hardest cross for repubs to bear.)

Repubs count on projection as fully as their evil god does, and hope no one actually reads (as they don't), and forms thoughts based on reading that would discredit idiocy like this in an instant.
