What you say is largely true, but the fact that it's true is a really big part of the racism that makes law enforcement such a danger to the Black community. (And has been since American law enforcement was originated.)
Three times while living in the deep south (twice in SC and once in GA) I faced police action that I'm convinced I only survived because my skin is white.
And this was directed at someone with nothing greater in my record than two speeding tickets.
