When I was working for the deep south library in the county where I live, in a traveling IT capacity, one of the librarians was an evangelical preacher’s wife.

I would frequently notice her asking people she knew to visit their church. But she never once asked me. And while it’s no secret that out family isn’t known for attending church, isn’t that the reason that those like us would be asked before someone already known to be “saved”? Or is it because it’s not likely that asking us to attend would be as profitable.
