Despite this discussion being somewhat (unintentionally) centered on semantics, I think I "phrased it lousily", in reference to my response.
To simplify:
If we exist, something brought us into existence.
That creative force is generally considered in the context of the ability to create, and thus is generally known as "Creator".
So, anyone in existence exists. And was thereby created. Some call that force God, though I'm not typically among them. (Seems far too limited.)
So IF we exist, so does the thing that brought us into existence.
(I realize that any argument based entirely on things we do not know is doomed to failure, so simplicity seeded most appropriate.)
